The Embassy of Benin in Washington, D.C., would like to bring to the attention of the public thateffective January 1st , 2004 visa fees to Benin for American citizens will be one hundred dollars (US $100).

1. One(1) application form in legible writing

2. One(1) passport size photo.

3. International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow fever)

4. $100.00 (Hundred dollars) fee for each applicant. (Money order or certified check only)

5. A letter of guarantee from employer or travel Agency or Xerox of round trip Ticket or a Bank letter of guarantee.

- Visa : valid up to 36 months for single or multiple entries.

- Join your passport to the form.

- Passport must be valid for at least six (6) months and if it is to be sent back by mail, please enclose self addressed certified enveloppe or an express mail envelope.

- Lengh of visa may not exceed validity of passport

- Please allow 48 hours for issuance of visa.

Visa Requirements for Non-United States Citizens:

1) One (1) application form in legible writing.

2) One (1) passport size photo.

3) International certificate of vaccination (yellow fever).

4) Visa is valid for up to ninety days (90) with one or multiple entries

5) Visa Fees: (MONEY ORDER OR CERTIFIED CHECK ONLY)

• For a stay of up to thirty (30) days:
  
  • One entry: Forty dollars ($40)
    
  • Multiple entries: Forty-five dollars ($45)
• For a stay of thirty-one (31) to ninety (90) days:
  
  • One entry: Forty-five dollars ($45)
    
  • Multiple entries: Fifty dollars ($50)

5) A letter of guarantee from an employer, travel agency, photocopy of round trip ticket or a bank letter of guarantee.

• Include passport with the application form
  
• Passport must be valid for at least six (6) months and if it is to be sent back by mail, please enclose self addressed certified envelope or an express mail envelope.
  
• Please allow 48 hours for issuance of visa.
